In this version, the Gut screening as well as detecting what was investigated in the Gut Normal - checks, counts and evaluation of the protective bacterial flora (bifidia, lactobacilli, etc.) presence and measurement of the pathogenic flora - adds the search for any occult blood and measures Calprotectin and Lactoferrin, to provide broad and complete information on the inflammatory state of the mucous membranes.

This type of test can also be combined with the detection of M2PK, a type 2 Piuvato Kinase protein: an indicator of deep inflammation and mucosal damage. Particularly suitable for family history of colon cancer, polyposis and inflammatory bowel disease.
